Universal Pictures has unveiled the teaser trailer of its highly awaited comedy “Pitch Perfect 2” which may be viewed here after the jump.

The Barden Bellas are back in “Pitch Perfect 2,” the follow-up to the original smash hit. The comedy is helmed by Elizabeth Banks, co-star and producer of “Pitch Perfect,” and produced by Paul Brooks, Max Handelman and Banks. Writer Kay Cannon returns to the team to pen the next chapter.
The film stars Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin, Rebel Wilson, Adam DeVine, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, Ester Dean, Hana Mae Lee, Hailee Steinfeld with John Michael Higgins, Katey Sagal and Elizabeth Banks.

Viva Films’s comedy offering “Moron 5.2: The Transformation” raked P33,102,157 at the box office in 2 weeks. Spring Film’s romantic movie “Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig” grossed P4.95 million.

“Moron 5.2″ starring Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, Marvin Agustin, DJ Durano, John Lapuz and Matteo Guidicelli placed third in the local box office race for two consecutive weeks with Disney’s “Big Hero 6″ at no. 1 and “Interstellar” at no. 2.

“Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig,” on the other hand, placed 4th overall on its debut with a 5-day gross of P4,954,361.

Poppert Berdanas sang the Aegis song “Luha” and became the seventh 4-chair turner in “The Voice of the Philippines season 2.

Poppert is one of the artists of the homegrown musical “Rock of Aegis” that’s why coach Lea Salonga recognized him after she turned her seat. But it’s not only Lea who was impressed with his performance as Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo and Apl.de.ap also turned their seats for him.

Through the request of the judges, Poppert sang duet with The Voice Kids winner Lyca Gairanod, also known for singing Aegis songs.

Originally written by Pinky Jhewelii with almost 15.6 million reads on Wattpad, this romantic-comedy series brings back to television the well-loved character of “Kamahalan” Kyle. Featuring Artista Academy scholars Mark Neumann and Shaira Mae Dela Cruz, this most awaited sequel features the continuation of the compelling story of the ordinary but strong-willed Chelsea (Shaira) as she now becomes the official girlfriend of the most popular guy in their campus, Kyle (Mark). After fighting back his feelings and later on officially admitting that he is really in love with Chelsea, Kyle now has to fight for his girlfriend as he is being pushed by his father into an arranged marriage with his ex-girlfriend Mandy (Yassi Pressman). Will Kyle be able to prove to his father that Chelsea is the right girl for him? Or will he just end up with Mandy and let Chelsea be pursued by his friend, Adrian (Diego Loyzaga)?

Isabelle Daza is now officially a Kapamilya after she inked an exclusive network contract with ABS-CBN on Monday (Nov 24).

The model-actress is set to join the cast of an upcoming TV series titled “Nathaniel.” “I’ll be working with Gerald Anderson, Shaina Magdayao, Pokwang, and Connie Reyes. It’s an amazing cast so I’m really excited. I’ll portray the role of Gerald’s girlfriend. I’m a lawyer, who works closely with his mom Connie,” she revealed in an interview.

She is also gearing up for a movie under Star Cinema.

Isabelle shared that she is overwhelmed with the warm welcome given by her new family in ABS-CBN.
When asked why she joined the Kapamilya network, she explained that she wanted to hone her acting skills. “I wanted a new challenge in my life. I wanted to try something that I haven’t done. I wanted to expand my horizons and take this journey as an actress,” she added.

Also present during the contract signing were ABS-CBN president and CEO Charo Santos-Concio, ABS-CBN broadcast head Cory Vidanes, Star Creatives head Malou Santos, chief finance officer Aldrin Cerrado, TV production head Laurenti Dyogi, and talent manager Leo Dominguez.

Showbiz royalties Julia Barretto and Iñigo Pascual will be paired up for the first time in the upcoming romantic drama episode of ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (November 29). They will play the roles of close friends Karen and Christian.

With her father’s strict upbringing, Karen promises herself that she will never disobey her parents and will never be in love. But her world turns around when she meets and befriends Christian—her first love. But since she is afraid to confess her real feelings for Christian, Karen finds contentment in writing her emotions and messages of love in her diary.

Will Christian discover Karen’s well-kept secret? What will Karen do once she discovers that her first love is already committed to someone else?
