American Idol winner Carrie Underwood tries her hand at acting in the upcoming biographical teen movie “Soul Surfer.”
Carrie Underwood stars in Soul Surfer, the true life story of champion surfer Bethany Hamilton who lost an arm in a shark attack and later battled her way back from injury to the waves. The film also stars AnnaSophia Robb, Dennis Quaid and Academy Award winner Helen Hunt.
The film hits theaters on April 8.
