Star Cinema’s romantic comedy “My Cactus Heart” had a three-week box office gross of P23 million. “Journey 2 The Mysterious Island” topped PHL box-office for second consecutive week.
“My Cactus Heart,” starring Matteo Guidicelli, Xian Lim and Maja Salvador has raked-in P23 million in 3 weeks, perhaps its full run since “UnOfficially Yours” starring Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz opened in theaters yesterday, February 15.
Topping Philippine box-office for the opening period of February 8 to 12, 2012 is the fantasy-adventure movie “Journey 2 The Mysterious Island” with a gross of P16.84 million in 5 days and a total gross of P47 million in two weeks.
Debuting at no. 2 is the romantic movie “The Vow” starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. “The Vow” opened in the US last week at no. 1.
Three more Hollywood movies debuted last weekend: “Safe House” at no. 4, “Star Wards Episode 1: The Phantom Menace 3D” at no. 5 and “Woman in Black” at no. 6.
