Janelle Arthur became the first girl among the American Idol season 12 finalists to get eliminated as predicted by judge Nicki Minaj.
After 5 guys were eliminated in 5 consecutive weeks, the first girl to leave the ‘Idol’ stage is Janelle Arthur. Obviously, the judges did not use the “SAVE” on her after she sang “Keep Me Hanging On.” Randy Jackson even revealed that it was two against two and it’s not enough. This is the last time, by the way, the judges can use the ‘saving’ power. Next week, it’s gone.
Kree Harrison joined Janelle in the bottom two.
