Dolphy, the King of Comedy, will be laid to rest today, July 15, 2012, at the Heritage Park in Taguig City.
A necrological service was held at the Heritage Chapel by Father Tito Caluag around 10:00am this morning.
Burial rites are scheduled at 3:00pm this afternoon.
The Quizon family has decided to make the burial private, only family and close friends would be allowed to attend. They encourage the public to just watch the burial on television or via live stream:
“It is unfortunate for those who love my dad, and his fans, that we will have to close the doors of Heritage Park,” Eric Quizon told the media.
However, the actor-director pointed out that cameras from the three major networks–ABS-CBN, GMA-7 and TV5–have been designated to the venue for the public to see.
