Mom Suing Justin Bieber for a whopping $9.23 million after her ears was damaged because of screaming fans during the young superstar’s concert in Portland, Oregon.
Mom Stacey Alexandra Wilson Bettis of Wilsonville, Orgeon, is blaming Justin Bieber for her damaged ears claiming that the Canadian lad’s screaming fans and sound blast exceeding safe decibel levels have caused it.
Aside from Bieber, Bettis is also suing the singer’s recording company Island Def Jam Records, Vulcan Sports and Entertainment, and AEG Worldwide for $9.23 million.
In a report by TMZ, Bettis said the amount is to shoulder the expenses, pain and suffering and “loss of quality of life, severe tinnitus, hyperacusis and permanent disability and impairment to both of [my] ears.”
Bettis also claims that she had “no reasonable way to anticipate the gondola could create a sound blast that would permanently damage her ears.” She added that experienced promoters, sound engineers, managers and artists should be knowledgeable about maintaining safe decibels at all times and that they are all responsible for the incident.
Bettis was at the Justin Bieber concert last July 14 because of her daughter.
