“That’s My Boy” is Adam Sandler‘s latest comedy film starring himself, Andy Samberg, and Leighton Meester.

Sean Anders and John Morris served as directors of the film under Sandler’s production company Happy Madison, distributed by Columbia Pictures.

Plot: The movie follows a man (Adam Sandler) who, as a teenager, fathered a son (Andy Samberg) in high school with his teacher. Years later, the man visits his son on the eve of his son’s wedding and begins feuding with his son’s bride (Leighton Meester).

After “Jack and Jill” became Sandler’s worst movie ever, people are curious about his latest outing, “That’s My Boy.”

Here’s what critics said about the movie:

“On some level I marveled at the conviction that Adam Sandler pours into playing a character like Donny Berger, a boneheaded, loud-mouthed alcoholic loser from Boston.” – Owen Gleimerman (EW)

“Sandler’s Berger is the most loutish, annoying character he’s come up with since “Little Nicky.” Nicky came from hell; viewers of “That’s My Boy” will feel like they’re in it.” – Adam Graham (Detroit News)

“Everything about That’s My Boy is offensive. I cannot explain why I liked it. I guess even playing an offensive, vile, self-centered cretin, Sandler is likable.” – Gary Wolcott (Tri-City Herald)

“Not good, but better than ‘Jack and Jill.’” – James Verniere (Boston Herald)
