Bacolod Masskara was declared fifth season grand champion of the ABS-CBN noontime variety program on Saturday, Arpil 28, 2012.
Grand finalists Amazing Paper Dolls, Tiklad, Infinite Reform, Bacolod Masskara, Lahing Anda, Dumaguete’s Pride, and Next Level Octomix vied for the P3 million cash prize and the title sixth grand champion of the ABS-CBN noontime variety talent show.
Receiving perfect 10 scores from the judges, Bacolod Masskara emerged as the winner, taking home P2 million cash prize for the group and P1 million for the town they represent.
Bacolod Masskara became the sixth grand champion of weekday talent variety show following triumphs of XB Gensan (Season 1), Laoag City Gymnastics Group (Season 2), True Colors (Season 3), Astig Pinoy (Season 4), and CCP Bobcats (Campus Clash Edition).
